Original Smashing Stickers

I've been having fun in my Smash book and have purchased a lot of Smash embellishments; as well as using my scrapbook stash.  My oldest daughter, Morgan sketches all the time an since we also have an Etsy shop, came up with a great idea.  I took some of Morgan's sketches, reduced them and copied to sticker labels for unique Smash stickers - which I am listing in our shop tonight: RoMoHoDesigns.  The cool thing - you get to color them in if you want using markers or colored pencils.   These can also be used for scrapbooking, as return address labels, cards, labeling items, mail art, journaling, etc.
We are also making more sheets with other graphics as well, coming soon!

Hope everyone's Monday is not as wet as our's is now.

SMASHING SUNDAY

So happy to be joining in on my first Smashing Sunday over @ http://www.kelliewinnell.com.au/  I have two pages to share that I created today - the first is light on items whereas the second is overly loaded - crammed it in, didn't want to do a two-page spread.

This one is about the Zines I've created to list in my Etsy.com shop
I found the typewriter on a piece of scrapbook paper and knew I wanted to use it in my smashbook.  Since I type up the text in my zines, liked the idea of the zine pages "coming up out of the typewriter".  Used a pieced of decorative masking tape just because I liked it and felt it had a "creative vibe" to it.  Used my Smash date stamp to stamp on the typewriter today's date and added a few other embellies.

Here's my stash of what I had planned to use on the next page - the overly crowded page of my daughter Kerri, at the Reds game with me and her friend, Jamie.  Most of the supplies I did use on the page.

Kerri belongs to her schools singing group, OVATION, and every April they are invited to sing the National Anthem at a Reds' Baseball game.  I took a few pictures of her and the group when they were shown on the jumbotron - game out pretty well.  The picture of Kerri - on the right - with her friend, Jamie was taken by an employee there as was the one of Jamie and me in front of the Ohio River on the outside of the stadium.  Kerri had to go with her school and we met her in our seats after her performance.

I created the rosette with the Tim Holtz Sizzix die and added a baseball sticker to its center.  Put Smash polka dot tape down both sides of the page with some red and white polka dot ribbon.  (Red and Black are her school colors)  I wrote in the journal block sticker and used it as a pocket for our ticket stubs.

I asked Kerri to write on the Smash journal spot about all the food the girls consumed.  Tucked in our photo reminder cards behind our pic and added a few baseball them stickers and stars here and there.  I normally do not LOAD my pages this much, but just felt compelled to do so for this Smash page.

Thanks for stopping by, hope you are having a fun SMASHING SUNDAY!!

Smashbook, Baseball and Pink Saturday

Posting for Pink Saturday over at Beverly's lovely www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com and for Show and Tell Saturday at http://www.bedifferentactnormal.com/ with my Smashbook page about my daughter, Kerri's baseball game as well as her singing group, Ovation singing the National Anthem at the Cincinnati, Reds baseball game last night, Friday, April 27th.

Used the pink baseball paper to represent the fact she is the ONLY GIRL on the team as well as in the BBA!!  Liked the black polka dot washi tape - carried on the "ball" team - used a piece of the K & Co. Smash tape of "who, where, when, why". Added a variety of baseball stickers - the main focus was the lineup card and a little journaling about the day.  (It was raining the entire came, very windy and cold, so didn't take any pictures- that's the beauty of Smashbooks, pictures aren't a "requirement".)

SO FUN SEEING MY DAUGHTER ON THE JUMBO TRON!!!!

ANOTHER FUN AND MEMORABLE EVENING AT A REDS GAME - 2ND YEAR KERRI AND OVATION HAVE PERFORMED FOR THE REDS AND SHE IS THE 3RD  OF MY 4 KIDS TO DO SO!

HOPE YOU HAVE A MEMORABLE WEEKEND!!

MY SMASHBOOK - sharing for PINK SATURDAY

My birthday was April 4th and my best friend, Hilda sent me my very first Smash book with extra goodies!  I immediately did the first page in the book using one of the pockets she sent to hold the birthday card from her.  The flowers I cut out from the wrapping paper she used, the butterfly was on the card's envelope and pulled the Smashbook sticker off the front of the book.  A simple page, but my first and I'm happy with it.

Also sharing my daughter, Morgan's set of original drawing stationery that we are selling in our Etsy shop.  I had posted another batch of these last month, but this is a different style of paper, etc.  She is already at work on new sketches.

Hope everyone has a fun Pink Saturday and a Happy Easter!!
