A QUICK POSTING FOR PINK SATURDAY

Unfortunately I am busy packing for our move in less than two weeks, but since I missed the last Pink Saturday, wanted to get a little something up for this one - besides, I needed a break!
This lovely pink depression glass pitcher was found at an antique sale on our 5th wedding anniversary - last month we celebrated our 21st.  It is difficult to appreciate the delicate pink in it from this photo.  I love when the sun shines through it; I use it more for floral display than actual 'pitcher duty' since the pour spout is so tiny it is very slow pouring and usually messy.

A gift from my oldest daughter, she found it while up visiting OSU - she moves up there next month to start her Junior year.  Hopefully I will find a couple of hours this weekend to enjoy it and relax.

Please stop by Beverly's  at http://www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ she is the wonderful hostess of Pink Saturday.

Lady, You just stop and take some time for yourself. Moving in this weather is a fun stealer. Love your pitcher and the fact your daughter thought of you too. I hope your new home will bring you pinkalicious joy.

I LOVE your pink glass pitcher! Looks similar to some the the crinkle style glassware I posted about a couple of weeks ago. It would be perfect for pink lemonade on a hot summer day!

Your depression glass is lovely. I too have a few pitchers that do not make for pleasant pouring. I use them as vases instead. :-)
One can never go wrong with Breakfast at Tiffany's....wonderful old movie.

Wishing you all the best and, of course, a pinkishly beautiful weekend
